Food for Thought by J.C. Bell
On this maiden flight of the Bell Research Companies newsletter, I've decided to use this opportunity to give our supporters, customers and those just becoming familiar with us a general updated overview of our companies and the progress of each.
Bell Plantation represents the food side of Bell Research Companies. PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter was the first product to emerge from Georgia Belle Plantation, the original name of the company. Immediately following PB2, Roasted Peanut Oil evolved. For a while, these were our only two products and most of our sales came from the website. Before we felt ready to venture out into the world of retail, we had grocery, health food stores, smoothie bars, camping suppliers, etc., requesting the opportunity to retail our product. To date we are in about 400 stores and the number is rising rapidly. And then came PB2 with Chocolate -- a real grand slam for our customers and for our company!
About four weeks ago, our new product and product packaging hit the shelves. PB2 and Chocolate PB2 have new jars, labels and lids. The fantastic news is that Chocolate PB2 has a new formula and if you thought the first product was good, you're in for a great surprise! The frosting on that "lo-cal cake" is that the Nutritionals are even better!!! Soon to come will be single serve and 1 lb. packages of both products -- we'll keep you updated on the progress.
Other news on the food front is the Bell Plantation Emergency® and Bell Plantation Sustain® food products. Both of these products are for the emergency feeding of refugees and disaster victims. These products are designed to be very nutritionally dense and can be dropped from a plane. They flutter to the ground and can literally be caught in midair -- even by children. Refugees suffering from malnutrition who are provided this food can regain their strength and health. We look forward to sending this product to Africa to begin feeding people that have been forced from their homes and are now starving. We will have video and pictures for you in the near future.
Bell BioEnergy continues to garner interest and support from a variety of sources. We are starting projects in western Oklahoma and Kansas, California and other areas of the country. We will be producing clean renewable energy within months and look forward to growing rapidly in the future. We are now working with Oklahoma State University and its University Multispectral Laboratory to further develop our waste biomass to gasoline and diesel, and also our clean coal supplement for generating electricity.
You can get involved by spreading the word of our companies, what we are doing and by continuing to purchase our products. We could not have developed any of our food products or biofuel technology without your help. We appreciate your continued interest and support!
